Alexa's Book Review:
I came across Shy’s book, How To Be A Stripper: Everything You Ever Wanted To Know But Were Too Afraid To Ask, through one of the girls at my club. I’ve been dancing for over six months now, but wish I would have found this book sooner. Not only has it helped me earn more money, it also helped me realize how to work with the different kind of men at the club. I learned a lot of great tips from Shy and I highly recommend reading her book.
Exotic Dancing
Jessica's Book Review:
Hi future dancers! My name is Jessica and I just finished reading How To Be A Stripper. I have to tell you that it has been one of the best eye opening experiences and am so glad I read this before I started dancing. Instead of learning how to be a stripper by trial and error, I feel completely prepared for what is ahead of me. I know what kind of clothes, shoes, and makeup to buy as well as how to approach men and solicit lap dances. I am super excited about my new dancing career and can’t wait to get started!
Stripper Survival
Kristin's Book Review:
I am so happy I came across this website. I lost my job a month ago and have been panicking about how I’m going to pay my bills. I’d always wanted to try stripping but was too afraid about what others would think. I purchased this book and read it cover to cover in one night! I couldn’t put it down. I thought it had a lot of very useful information and it made me feel confident that I too could become a stripper. Thank you Shy!!!
Pole Dancing Class
Larissa's Book Review:
This book is written in a very conversational way which makes you feel like Shy is actually sitting across the table from you. When I read this book, I could picture the contents of the book as a conversation you’d have with a friend over coffee. I felt that her advice and recommendations were spot on. Becoming a stripper is something that is kind of mysterious and it’s not like you can just go to the library and read up on it. There are some good sites online with some information on dancing, but it isn’t as comprehensive as this book. If you really would like to get an idea of the tools you’ll need to get started, this book is right for you. Although it is geared towards girls who would like to get started, I’d also recommend it to dancers who are having a hard time during their first few months.
